XS detecting gold

I'm having problems programing my XS to detect gold in 24 karat and up range I need some help any suggestions

Depends on the size of it, to small and it will have problems to see it.
A ring should be no problem.. What kind of gold are we talking about exactly?

You might try:
Gain 10
Audio 1

That might help a bit.. But more details is needed..
Gold comes in many forms and shapes, therein lies the problem.

PS Gold doesn't go higher then 24 carat.

So that is why he is having trouble detecting it ... ...


Actualy, a "Joey" or other such small coil would detect small gold better than the stock coil.
