Beautiful day here in Southern Delaware, was able to get out for a couple of hours and try some programs, settings, and techniques in an old historic area/public park settled back in the late 1600's.
I was using the stock Deus Fast program & 11" coil.
All said and done, about $4 in clad coins (6"-10" depth)
1 "Spinning Motion" .925 Silver ring with diamonds (they are little diamonds, but my wife thinks they are real based on the way they are "set" in the rings.
1 1796-1807 Draped Bust Large Cent (I think) date obliterated...soaking in olive oil) about 10" inches in depth. I was/am horrified that I scratched and nicked this coin...lesson learned...make hole a little bigger!
1 1903 Liberty Head "V" Nickel...disclaimer here...amazingly enough, my 13 year old Son "eyeballed" this coin sticking up out of the dirt parking lot just after we had loaded our detectors & gear into the car!
A really great day out for us, and just wanted to share!
Still VERY MUCH new to the Deus...but love the depth, power, precision and target-separation!
( I have to mention a HUGE THANK-YOU goes out to both XP's "Gary" and "Calabash Digger" and all of you who post here, for the very informative and entertaining videos, and tips!)
Happy Hunting!
