Well got out and about today, so I hit the road and set out to do some door knocking and one of the two places ive been eyeballing came through for me and off I went with the XLT leaving the ATP in the truck . A little back ground history of the place there used to be a house built in 1852 on this property it was recently torn down and the remaining house was built in 1861 . So after about 20 minutes I hit a RHODE ISLAND BUTTON then a another button with some kind of funky design on it and then a fired musket ball and then I ended up scoring another LC 1820 making that 2 in two days , and I had a silver thimble but it must have fallen out of my pocket . Thanks for looking !

Great fiinds, you got to love those XLT I SURE DO. Bought my XLT in 1998

Looks like you've found a site with a lot of potential. The 1820 LC is indicative of other possible coins way older than the original house date. Good luck.

X L en T work! And thanks again for the program information . I will show the results of the XLT contest.(XLT with thousands of hours vs. New old stock XLT with 50 hours.
God bless.

Hey thanks everybody ! I am hoping to get into more places at this location its a really small town with about 30 houses most period and about 2 miles from home and wow so much history . During the 1800's it took in three counties worth of court and trial as it was the only court house and jail for a ways and during the civil war the town had a hotel which burned to the ground in the late 1800's and the town was plundered during the civil war and there was even a confederate camp on the creek banks problem is there isnt much information on it , it was in use for about 6 months till bad drinking water made the soldiers move 15 miles away to a new location and I am also research another location about 5 miles from home where over 5000 soldiers bivouacked for over 1 week which has a very interesting story behind it as a landmark is given to the location , but most people dont realize that landmark burnt to the ground in 1880 and another landmark with the same name was built 3 miles away and there was also a small skirmish there . So keeping my fingers crossed that no on else figure it out as it took me almost 4 months of reading to realize the true location.
