I got out for 2 or 3 hours. Found a couple copper pennies, some clads, and one silver 1943 War nickel. I dug the nickel at 6 1/2" - 7" measured with a ruler. The VDI read +24 and the DC Phase -61.
Some people question the XLT's ability to go deep and to find nickels. Today's results seem good to me. Are there machines that will do a lot better than that? Let me know what they are. Thanks for looking! H Digs
