Torrak I soaked my locks in White Vinegar and watch them . They come out VERY NICE and start moving like they should. I have been trying to find keys for mine
 

I found this lock at a WWII internment camp. I’m in the PNW so not a lot of cool old stuff around here, if we find late 1800’s we consider it really old so I thought it was a neat find.

Research tells me this would have been a government issue padlock for a footlocker
wtg but we would love to see the footage......................pic please

Cool Lock - congrats !
If you decide to clean it - it's made of smooth Brass - it should cleanup real nice !
