I was going around the same house tear downs in the middle of nowhere and decided to try a field across the road. As I was swinging along, I got a good signal and saw a large round object just laying on the ground that looked like a big coin. I wonder if it was disturbed some how and made it to the surface? I'm not sure how old it really is. Thanks for looking, enjoy the pics.

That's a really nice find. I think that it was made after WWII because WWI was referred to as "The Great War" not "World War" until after the second one was started or ended. Maybe an award given to veterans later in life? I like it and would have been very happy to take that home too. Good luck.

I found it on line and it said 1918 peace meddle. (so called dollar)

Similar to a fob, really nice! I like it!
