"DO RIGHT AND FEAR NO MAN"

There is a large eagle holding a shield with a sword t the center . from my research I've found out that each picture on the shield represents a different countryand the sword is the sword George Washington would carry

These medals were not won but sold around 1916 to raise money for French hospitals during the war
Anyone have any other info?

and this:
[FONT=&quot] The images on the shield represent the following countries: France which is depicted by the galleon and the rooster, England by the cross and oak leaf, Russia by the sitting bear, Belgium by the lion and Japan by the rayed sun. The upward pointing sword is for war, and the back of the medal bears another shield with 13 stars. The medal was designed in 1917 by Thomas Spicer Simpson and was made to raise funds for aid to the wounded in France.
