WWI Foreign Military Medal?? ......... SOLVED!

Does anyone know what kind of medal this is? Looks like an eagle holding a sceptor and a sword. The crown had enamel or paint on the little jewels to add more detail, but some of it has worn off. The crown is linked to the eagle and swivels. Any ideas?

It is the Imperial Order of the Mexican Eagle, Knights Breast badge which was created by Maximilian I on January 1, 1865. Nice one - did you find it detecting?
