These may be medals given by the Belgians to the troops of the countries that liberated Belgium in World War One. They would have had a ribbon but I don't know the colors. I'm assuming that the brass were given to Other Ranks and the silver would be given to officers. Perhaps there was gold for field grade officers of high rank. Belgian coins are bi-lingual with the word Belgium in french and Flemish. they all say Belgique - Belgie.
Could also just be a Belgium troops medal since it says "de L'Armee Belgie". Don't know what "matricule" means. Maybe lost by the Free Belgian troops in world war two while their country was occupied again and england was a haven for dispossed troops. nice find, siegfried schlagrule

Matricule: Register which lists the names of people who come into an organization, or it can be the number under which a person's name is on the list.

Thanks for the help, has anyone found one online?

I think "The Honor Roll of the Belgian Army" on the back and "Glory has Our Valiant Soldiers" on the front. They are unissued, there would have been a number engraved on them. I'm pretty sure there are sources for replacement ribbons for them as well, if you wante to put them back together.
