Hello,
this old propeller stays as deco in someone's front yard. At the moment
nobody lives there.So I couldn't ask the owner what kind or how
old it was. Later I have sent these pics to a webpage and someone
identified it as a B52 "Fliying Fortress" Bomber that was shot down
by the FLAK (anti aircraft guns) during its raids over Germany.
Mike.

Sorry,
I wrote "B52" instead of "B25" ::) ;D

PS.:
I would gladly look for some Serial Nrs. on it,but as it's private property
(although nobody lives there at the time) I could only shoot
some pics from the sidewalk .

Looks like the prop assemblies are the same, but the prop blades are different... I would say it is what your neighbor told you it was... I'm sure he would not lie :) Would he?
