I found several of those in lake near WW2 Russian and German bullets. Height is 10.75 mm and width 9.65 mm. Letter "L" is engraved on one side. Any idea what those might be?

1st - I noticed this was your very first post - so, Welcome Aboard Ace Of Spades! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forums: Select Your Area.... and selecting location information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country). You might also consider adding your state (or country) to your displayed profile (SETTINGS -> EDIT PROFILE) so if you ask a question, etc. - members may have more success helping you (your location may help, etc.)...

2nd - I moved from Magnet Fishing over to Forum: What is It? for more exposure.

Careful!

These might be cartridge igniters for artillery or someting like this, especially since most are marked by the firing pin.

The fact that they have these marks and were thrown into the water makes me think they are duds and therefore potentially dangerous. One or two grams of initial detonator giong off in your hand can ruin your day.

Perhaps somebody can identfy these things more closely.

They're some kind of primer, but I would think there'd be a lot more corrosion on them if they were from the WW2 era, but some freshwater lakes do have a way of preserving some items for a long time I think?

Some type of auxillary primer. However those are 22 rimfire FIRED cases in them, used as primer. The L is for Lapua of Finland. Completely inert

I 'm thinking some kind of a nail driver.

Perhaps something like those bolt drivers for killing animals. I dont want a nail driver were any cap needs to be screwed in, A hammer would be faster.
