ww2 pin? cant identify

I came across a bunch of these pins i cant identify them it has a date of 1894 not sure if thats the date of the pin any help would be great

I see the words Eisenbahn Karthaus(Railroad Kart House or Train Station) and Verein Bahnbeamtem(Association of Railway Officials). I can't find anything about it either. Oh, and it says 1894 and WWII lasted from 1939 to 1945. Doesn't mean the pin wasn't worn by someone during WWII though...
