Hello everyone! I got out & hunted in the snow Saturday (unusual for SC). Me & a buddy hit a site that had a few old homes at one time. Another friend found 2 1875 seated dimes here before. I wasn't that lucky but I found a few keepers. My best find was the WW2 hat insignia. I got excited when I saw that eagle! I also found a flat button, brass buckle & a cool Trooper cap gun (half of it). I'm curious about the piece of (carved?) lead. It's got kind of an unusual shape. I'm also curious about the large brass piece with an iron back. A hub off something??? It's too big to be a rosette. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks for looking & HH!

Creskol IDed the large round brass object as a rosette. I have just never seen one that big.

Love that cap gun, too! Nice saves!
