I forgot how much I love yardsales... I never find anything good back home, but I'e been out in Pueblo CO visiting family and happened to see one today and I figured I had better stop... Good thing I did, I picked this up for 10$. I'll be spending my afternoon doing some research but if anyone has any genealogy experience and would like to help me find out ,more about the soldier who carried it I'd love your input.
The mask is stiff and I'm afraid to mess with it until I get home and research how to soften it back up without doing any damage, but other than that it's in pretty good shape for a 100 year old gas mask.

and the crossed cannon drawing just makes it that much more special to me.
