WW II GERMAN MINE AS A WELCOME!!!!

In the little west coast town of Mokau on the west coast of the north island of New Zealand they have a german mine in the centre of the roundabout, hard case us kiwis for sure, like heh! welcome to our town and hullo ...a damn ww11 mine in the centre of town..!!! anyway thought some of you might have a chuckle about it , it evedently washed up some time after it was laid by a german destroyer and was defused and placed as a symbol of our freedom and stand against tyranny...I still make sure I dont hit it!!! ( if I have posted this in a wrong forum dont hesitate to mention as I am new to t/n..cheers

and yes a funny roundabout. The UK Rounabout Appreciation Society would love photograghing that one!
