WW-2 Brass..ID

Got this in a batch of ww-2 Small items. Is it Navy transportation or perhaps something similar? The 5 on back is just an inventory number put on with a marker pen..Pay no attention to it..

Part of it resembles the Detroit Red Wings logo from the motor city.

it is a army transportation collar brass

Already been identified but it is U.S. Army Transportation Corps, 1942 to present.

The insignia is metallic gold and brick red
enamel. Surrounding a mariner's wheel is a
shield representing a U.S. highway marker.
Superimposed on the shield is a winged rail
wheel on a railroad track. The symbols
represent the four major modes of transportation:
marine, road, aviation, and rail.
