A few of the finds My wife and I found at the spot of two old ramshackle houses built in the early 1900's and fell down in the 80's near Dolly Sods. Nothing remains of the 2 old houses and out buildings that used to be there, but boy is the old broken glass everywhere for clues. Turns out there actually used to be a small root cellar under the main building the present owners didn't know about, and in the process of leveling the ground they pushed it in and a lot of these glass shards still keep coming out of the dirt.

Haven't found anything too exciting yet, but still pretty decent finds for a place just a short walk in the woods 9 minutes from my front door :laughing7:

awesome stuff i was just at the dolly sods a couple months ago and really wanted to detect some land around there it looked so promising:icon_thumright:

Nice finds....get back there soon the good stuff is waiting!

Nice assortment of finds...love the old license plate.

Planning on hitting this spot a lot this year, the amount of bottles partially sticking out of the ground or leaves is ridiculous. Actually got me wanting to start collecting bottles. Found two old Pepsi cola bottles with the logo swirled around the neck. Haven't cleaned any of the bottles yet though.

The old truck is way cool. and I think I see an old key in pic. 6 That's a very nice find if it is.

Can't wait to see what coins may lurk there. Your finds are a snapshot in time and very cool.
