I bought this Etrac as a backup machine, but, my shoulder just isn't up to swinging it. The Etrac is in very good working condition and comes with the following:

11" pro coil w/cover, the cover has a piece missing.

Both battery packs and charger.

Like new Herke armrest w/strap.

Brand new housing cover.

Zagg clear screen cover

Manual

USB cable

APTX low latency transmitter with 1/4" adapter, if you want to run some wireless headphones.

I have wrapped the machine in non adhesive vet tape to keep it clean, I can be contacted via e-mail at [email protected] or text or call at 575-921-6511. I've been on the forums since 1999 and have done dozen of deals with many forum members, thanks.

Hmmmm...I believe the Etrac weighs 3.53 pounds, if the internet doesn't lie (har har har). The Equinox weighs 2.9. And it's nose heavy so a little hard to swing for long. Have you tried looking at an Equinox at a dealer's place yet? I'd recommend looking at one and trying it out before you leap. Both machines work well, but I'm not sure this is going to fix your problem. The one I had hurt my arm to swing it so I had to let it go. Getting old isn't for sissies.

I could only swing my ctx for a few hours the nox I put in a 6 HR hunt and think I could of went another 2hr's.

HOW you swing a machine,HOW you grip it and HOW the arm cuff is positioned/strap is tightened will have everything to do with longevity in the field. Weight is a factor but not as much of a factor as body mechanics,IMHO. Of course if you’re digging frequent targets, you’ll last longer. This may be the BIGGEST factor...

Yesterday it was frequent targets with the Deus from a place that had been previously cherry picked!

My Etrac weighs 4lbs 11 1/2oz. 2bs heavier than the Nox 800, that adds up over the course of a hunting days if the finds are few and far between. But, thanks for the heads up.

Decided to hang on to it.

Nothing wrong with one or more backup machines. I'm down to two machines now.

Lol...I didn't have a choice, no interest in a trade :)

And yes, you are correct, I'll need something in case my other machine takes a dump on me.
