WTB: Sovereign xs2a coil bolt and AA battery holder

I have an xs2a pro and used to have alot of problems with the heavy 10" coil flopping down.
I went to Home depot and bought a 1/4 bolt and nut made out of white nylon. They sell them in the nut and bolt section. Then I took a drill and drilled the hole in my coil to fit the bolt and drilled through the hole in the rod until the bolt went through all of it. Now my coil can be tightened down with this bolt without the trouble I used to have with the "unengineered" bolt that they supply for the 10" heavy BBS coil that is supplied with the unit.

So, if this is the problem, Home Depot is the place you want to go to, if it's not flopping down yet, you can still get these nylon bolts and nuts there and they are good to keep a few spares around. It will only cost you a few bucks this way.

Good luck

+1 with what Coinshooters said! :icon_thumleft:

This technique has been recommended and used by detectorists on some of the other detecting forums for use with the larger Coiltek WOT coils and has been met with good reviews.
