WTB: Battery Pack for Excalibur 1000

Have an older Excalibur 1000, would like any battery pack, the factory or the one that takes AAs, if one existed for the non Excal-II machines.

There is one on ebay. new. I dont know if its a good deal or not at 150 I think.

It's Excal II, not sure if the batteries are the same. I think they are not.

The older Excal 1000 batteries were NiCad. The Excal II has NiMH batteries. They are not the same but are interchangeable. NiMH is superior to NiCad. I run an Excal II (NiCad) on my Excal 800 and it works great!

You're welcome. Nope, haven't tried Alkaline pod.
