wrench but for what and how old?

I found this under about 6 in and it was extremely rusted. It cleaned up ok but i dont know anything about it

An early version of a "universal" wrench.

My best guess: Plow wrench, Deering pattern. I can make out the letters "......RA", (letters on the right side), but on't know who's name that might be part of.

A car collector says he think it is a model a multitool because he has the same one fir his model a. I cant find any pictures of it.

However, I now see a lot listed as just "utility" wrenches (exactly as Cpt. Zero said), so it may be that unless we could get a read on the name we don't know for certain what the intended use was (even if otherwise identical to some other brand made for something else, like a tractor, etc.)
But I'm sure on the Deering pattern.
