Wow what a hunt!

I went hunting Sunday & had one of best hunts in a longtime! The big knife is made out of high grade cochocton & it’s perfect! The Thebes point is a great find too! The bifurcate is a killer! I found a ton of stuff lots of scrapers flake tools & a lot of arrowheads!

FWIW, as a rule, LeCroys are made on potato chip flakes (thin and anything but flat). They were small, hafted knives (frequently serrated and generally asymmetrical). If you're lucky you can find them with silica phytogloss (edge section polish from cutting grass &c stems). Most could never have been used as projectile points.

It was just a plowed up field that was on high ground & very close to a big creek!
