Into the tree that is......no luck finding anything worth while, but the birds sure did. A little spit on the Pro Pointer, some seeds and the birds came. It takes patience, however, Garrett Detectors are a common sight up here. While standing still freezing my kajingaas off, A pleasant pheasant meandered by in shooting range of my camera. Pretty bird it is!

Hope you enjoyed the photo show!:coffee2:

Gotta figure how to put my nuts on the AT pointer ..... you know, for the squirrels.

Thanks for the pics John!! Just got myself a carrot about two weeks ago, just about the same time we got the granddaughters (5 & 6 yrs old respectively) an inexpensive MDing machine each for early Christmas presents. Since then, I haven't had anytime to use my AT Gold again since that day because they want to go out "Treasure Hunting" every time there is a spare minute. LOL! Anyway, I really enjoyed the pheasant photo since I used to hunt them a lot in another state and haven't in a number of years. Enjoyed all the photos and ALL the info you provide during the year on Garrett products, especially the ATP and Gold. Merry Christmas to you and the family my friend!

Nice pictures, I hunt in the same condition (freezing butt here too) but still no snow. Never had a season extension this long. I always enjoy your photos, thanks for sharing. Think i'm gonna bring my cam too next week-end.

Nice pics! You seem to be having fun in the snow! (p.s. It's 71 degrees outside right now where I live :tongue3:)
