wow,
I was just recovering from chicken pox and not wanting to go out in public quite yet and decided to root around my mothers old things in the basement and I found a teknetics 8000 coin computer anyone know how good a model this was and what it maybe worth today?

Well guy, I went to Google and looked up your detector and they refer ed me back to this site. I would say look under detectors on this forum and you will probably find what your looking for. I think someone has a manual for sale for you unit.
