I find quite a few but rarely post them. This one is almost definately Roman, as it seems there is no Medieval stuff around. They could be any age, & used for a number of purposes :icon_thumright:

Thanks Cru,I see you find alot of them.They always make me think of that piece when I see you guy's post them.I don't know what it is for sure but it did come from a old site here.May just be a weird fishing weight but have never found another like it.Anyway your a busy man so I'll let you go.Got to be a little sore from all that bending down you've been doing. :wink:

Its the field next to the Wow site & is at least 1000 metres away.

I guess you know by now I mean finished for this year :wink: Now we have the limits of the site we can concentrate our search in the next few years.

Its been my best year for Saxon objects, particularly strapends :o
