WOW - Fantastic Star Tongue Buckle!!

Mark and I got invited to hunt a Gold Rush town. This town was heavily populated from 1850-1857 or so and I had never had the opportunity to swing a coil there before. We were about 10 years late getting there but the site gave up a goodie for me!!

I was very excited to see this fantastic buckle pop out of the ground. We only had about 15 minutes left adn had not dug much. My buddy said: "Well someone better pull a rabbit out of the hat!" I took 3 steps got a signal and this popped out. I yelled over to him "Hey, you want to see my rabbit?" hahaha

I bit crooked at first but I slowly got it looking "display worthy"

Don't see many of these popping out!!

Nice find. I assume it's stamped brass like the majority of the other gold rush tongue and wreaths. I keep finding the wreaths with no tongues
