WOW! Dave finds gold,30", silk-rope chain w/ diamond.
It was plenty hot down here in North Carolina today as the thermometer read 93 at 12:00 noon, the time we started detecting today. We headed south, first spot I found the silver ballerina pendant and silver butterfly pendant. Bobbie found the 14k nugget ring, she also found a silver charm that looks like a baseball. Next spot I found the 14k Bass pendant. The next spot produced the biggest surprise in a long time. 2-14k gold necklaces. Bobbie's is the 20" herringbone, mine is the 30" "Silk Rope". It has a patent number on the clasp along with a small diamond embeded in it. It was so weird pulling this thing up, it just kept coming and coming. Bobbie found a broken silver toe ring there, also. Next spot produced some clad and the next to the last spot produced the little silver teddy bear ring.
We actually got to get out some yesterday afternoon and detect 2 spots. The little silver bangle came from the first one and Bobbie found the horseshoe silver bracelet at the second. Its supposed to be 98+ degrees here tomorrow so I suspect we will be done early . Dave wrote the post, but I had to give him the title for the beautiful necklace find he made. Hope you all had a wonderful day. Bobbie,Dave
