My brief elation quickly faded as I closer examined this massive ring. No, its not real gold. Oh well, to quote the Stones: "You can't always get what you want".
Haven't been finding much lately and haven't really been going out much since being diagnosed with C.O.F.S. Its incurable and only gets worse with age. As much as I try to fight it its effects are overwhelming at times. Before you start to feel sympathy or maybe not...instead maybe you're thinking great "one less person to compete with for the gold", I should tell you what this dreaded disease is. C.O.F.S. stands for Cronic Old Fart Syndrome. By the way my diagnosis was made by my wife.

I found an almost silver a few days ago. The detector screamed and it was a pretty ring...until I put my glasses on to see it was junk. That almost gold would've given me a high too.
