Id say not more likely very old naval button..... Thats an eagle holding an anchor good find. Id say its rather old.
 

go to the treasure depots button book online.... Id say its from between the 1840s and 1870s. hopefully you can get a back mark.

Yeah James I know its old but just dont want to get to excited over these damn buttons anymore. I looked up something that said if it had a rusted back it was probably civilian. It came from the side of my house so I know it has been there for many years. The only thing is the back is rusted and i cant get a back mark.
