it's pretty self explanatory, just read the whole pdf.

There are dozens of maps. One map for each mineral in the survey showing the average trace found in soil from samples is listed. The darker the box the more concentrated. These are soil samples, not ore. Someone took a scoop of dirt and analyzed the component minerals.

No gold, no silver.
