Sorry I took so long to get back to you, teleprospector. Thank you for the reply. I'll be hitting this area this year hard. thanks again. Bob

The other day when I did a quick check, was picking up some traces of platinum in spots, but more in this one place. What I understand about New Mexico platinum, the Spanish had no use for it, at least while mining there. As a result, it got discarded on a dump pile. I'm thinking the platinum found in mines was located more in south central part of NM.

I've done quite a lot of maps for a prospector in Vancouver Island, BC... to locate good areas for filing mining claims. The BC area is know for abundance of platinum, some rivers produce not only nuggets, but 50% platinum placer gold. In Vancouver Island, it's not that common, a couple maps did give a platinum signal, with nuggets too.

Now, I need to check if just a trace or enough to mine. Seems like you would have already known about it if there was platinum in abundance. Probably the best thing to do is check out the placer gold recovered, see if it is part platinum.

Hi bob nm,
I did a redowse and here is the revised picture.

My dowse revealed that in the white circled areas is a gold and silver coin cache.
In the white rectangle area I picked up very prominent gold signals and some weaker silver signals,.. Some of the signals are from natural gold and there are some signals from a gold and silver coin cache or a gold/silver bar cache.
Green circle: Platinum pocket/small nuggets about 12 to 15 feet deep, approx. 1/2 lb of platinum.
Orange circles: Large and shallow copper deposits.
Yellow circle: Crude oil "pod" or pocket about 4000 feet deep. This is "heavy" crude meaning it has a high sulphur content.
Thanks for posting your picture,
Jon

Ok, I'll use Teleprospector's map, since there is a circle there...this is where I've been getting a heavy signal. Right where your circle is with the arrow and in the area has the lines around it....some kind of a signal all of inside the lines. I got a platinum response there, but more where the line is below, over to your green circle.

Just checking your overview photo Bob, found a nice copper deposit clear on the right side last 1/4 of width, about midway up.
