Hey everyone:

I listed a few things on ebay and I got a bid within the first hour from someone who opened their account that same day and they reside in Brazil. I know a lot of people dont ship to Brazil due to mail fraud.

Would you cancel the bid and just add Brazil as a country you dont ship to?

This person is only bidding on my item from what I can tell.

I recently sold an item to a guy who was in Chile, I don't ship to Chile. I do believe they can bid if they have a US address. All the stuff that sells to South America goes to Miami. So I don't think you need to worry about the guy more than any other buyer. Of course I sold a $10 knife, so it wasn't a big risk for me. Many times in the past I have sold items to people who have registered the day before just to bid or buy my item. As much as I can remember I have had maybe 1 or 2 problems and that was just they never paid. I know some sellers will not sell to these people, but I never blocked a buyer for that reason.

Just sold some flatware to a guy that registered yesterday and obviously has 0 feedback. He paid quick so no worries.
