Need help to identify what it might be or is it natural. It was found in North East Connecticut in the ground and it's around 5" wide by 10" long. On left top corner is letter UR and believe it or not within letters the numbers 135. To the side AD mark.Having trouble sending more pictures, will try again. It surface is metallic looking on one side.

You'd probably get better luck if posted in the Rock section:
Rocks/Gems

Are you wondering if there could be precious metals associated with this rock?

In any case, would help greatly if you could provide all the information you have; such as where found (state, maybe even county), river, seashore, dry land, up on a mountain, buried in the ground, etc. Try to give us a mental image of the area.

It's really tough sometimes to ID minerals using nothing but 2D images on a screen. Any additional info you can provide will help not only us, but you.
