Branches breaking.. knocking down electric lines ..states of emergency close by..
Large branch snapped off the large pine in the yard but better here than across power lines
Hope your weather is bright
Hope you got everything you need at home, Bill.

Ice is always bad. We were lucky. Had a lot of rain and snow. The rain turned fast to snow so no ice.
Sam good to see conditions are better in your area
The ice and snow is as hard as a rock and don’t remember seeing that
I put a tarp on the car before the storm and it froze to the car
Be careful outside
Thanks Bill

When it's cold here(40's) I have to cover my birds. Brrr!View attachment 2008154
Nice backyard, the outdoor aviary is nice. I don't think my parrots would like an outside aviary, they get scared when a hawk flies in the sky when they are on my screened-in porch.

One of the reasons I moved back to Florida was I was tired of the ice storms in Missouri. My job required me to drive during some of the worst ice and snow storms towing a backup generator to remote telecom offices that lost power.

And here we thought a bad day was a pebble in the flip flop, and the jug of piña colada was empty.🤣

Some of my sites were 35 miles from home, towing a generator on the interstate that is full of vehicles that slid off the highway, couldn't drive faster than 15 mph or the generator trailer would start sliding all over the highway I had 3 telecom sites I maintained, one had a standing generator, the other two required towing a generator to get the site back up when power was lost, on-site batteries would keep the site up for about 4 hours but you did not want the batteries to be drained.

Bill we have a foot of fresh sand and a bright sun warning.....you can't believe the balmy breezes and rum punch either !!:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:
Please please send some of that nice sand up here I could use about 600 pounds of that fresh sand in the driveway
