When I first joined Tnet some time ago, I said I would post every hunt we did, however good or indifferent.
We were well over due a day like this one!
Photo 1: Spent 1 hour on a grass field which only produced 2 buttons & no encouraging signs.
Photo 2: Spent 1.5 hours on a overgrown game strip - 2 buttons
Photo 3: Spent 1 hour on another small game strip & I at least saved us from a bust - with a William IV (mid-1830s) trade/kitchen weight :-[

Did a little drive around & the Barley nearly looks ready but these fields are both long shots, still roll on harvest time :thumbsup:

That's more than we got, and it was an extreme effort to do it. (or not to do it I guess) Next time!

I have not ever found any weight coins of this type :'( .. therefore has to be a great find! :laughing7:
