Short 30-minute "audition" hunt on a property I'm trying to get permission to hunt. I showed the owner the four targets I dug - two pulltabs, a bobbypin, and this Quarter! She said she watched me from her window the whole time and because, "..my yard looks OK, you kept your word and showed me it all," I got the permission. Pretty stoked! Seven-acres and the original house was built in 1757. She let me keep the quarter, and she has 1st refusal on all finds.:skullflag:

Remember, don't throw out any of those funny pieces of odd brass - Indian ornaments, likely on so old a property.

Sounds like you for yourself onto and into some good dirt. Nice deal and SLQ. Congrats

And watch out for them yeller jackets!

Heck yeah, great find Terry. No one can make her sit down now matter how old and beaten she is! [emoji23]

Congratulations brotha hadn’t dug one in a while. I remember see that eagle in the ground and I only new the front at the time. I was so freaked out lol

Nice silver save Terry. Congrats. Good luck with the permission. Hope you find some good keepers.

Just think how many pockets that coin has tumbled around in to get that smooth...cool find!

very nice find Terry - congrats!!!

Good luck Terry and keep us updated!

Congratulations on the quarter and even more so on the promising permission!

Holy moly thats an old site I would build a log cabin on the premises. I would love a site where its like a dig everything Good luck looks like a great start with that coin. In my town if I dug everything I dont think I would get 10 ft in a long days hunt lol The state flower in MI is a pull tab.. Keep us posted my friend HH Tommy

Nice Silver! Sounds like a great new permission. GL to ya!

Great work keeping your word- hope the next trip yields some more awesome finds! GL!

Nice job on securing the permission. :icon_thumleft:

Passed by your neck of the woods again, cut through the parkways in Connecticut to Riverside Drive in NY on Monday. :hello:

Nice find Terry. Great way to gain a permission, and good luck on the rest.

Never got one yet, but I skipped over it for a barber last year!
