Your'e detector isn't beeping on the worms.Your detector might find an aluminum can up to 18" deep or more.Dig every signal while you are learning about your new detector. With experience you'll learn what different targets sound like. That takes a long time to learn well.I still dig any target that doesn't sound like a nail. You'll dig a bunch of junk, then you'll maybe find GOLD!

My BH Land Ranger will do the max on it's scale which stops at 8+ inches. The electronics are similar. Monty

put your own sticker over the existing one on your unit,, show bill dance {the fisherman} how you can locate worms, then sell him all the units he wants for a hundred dollar mark-up...soon they will be pictured in cabellas catalog, on the ronco commercials, on t-shirts, everywhere............gldhntr

LOL! gldhntr have you ever thought of going into sales? :D In my personal experience, I've found white grubs near coins or other metal when the hole is opened up. I don't know if it's just coincidence or if it has to do either with a taste of metallic particles or whether there is a slight heat difference that attracts them.
In any case, collect them and if you don't have any success with mding, then go fishing. ;)

Bob,

researchers have discovered that your worms are equipped with a biological compass that orients them to the magnetic field of the earth. ;)

They have found tiny flecks of magnetite, a compound of iron and oxygen, embedded in their brain tissue ;)

have a good un...........
