✅ SOLVED World War 2 German Uniform Button??? Or Not?

I have found two of these buttons (one at a Masonic Lodge & one at an old church)




While watching some Youtube videos I come across the same buttons, (far left). So are these some form of standard buttons made in Europe or German uniform buttons and how did two end up in Canada (and 220 kms apart)? I've searched for similar buttons with no luck?

Is yours more like a snap? Your finds appear to be snaps from a German WWII canteen cover. Likely from a canteen brought back home after the war.
