I finally got a chance to work that big city corner lot and found.........clad, trash and a few curious relics.
The bullet in the center was posted on the 5th (a friend suggested it may be a Sharps .52, weight 20+ grams), but is included here to show the range of bullets found. The first one is a 3 ringer that weights 30.4 grams and has a slight hollowing at the base. It's ID is still a mystery. I checked out the Buffalo bullets and found some similar to this one. The first metal car has a reversed "3" on the inside of the roof. The first ring is a Viva Beads Midnight Lace style, the second is an Esposito 14kt gold electroplate.
I'm really curious about the "button". It has 2 sets of 4 holes on the face , but only 4 holes on the back and also has what appears to be 2 eyelets for attaching to a garment, accessory or furniture............
Goin' back tomorrow for more searching.
Thanks for lookin in and good luck to all on your hunts........
