We got hammered with one or more inches of ice and sleet here in Northern Virginia. The roads are clear if you can find one without a dozen trees laying across them. And, now the weather people are saying we are due for 3-5 inches of snow later today and tonight.

Power went off at 2AM. By 5AM I had a fire going and my cheap $299 generator running. Not a bad day after all. I just move power cord to different appliances as I need them.
Hot coffee, hot breakfast and now I"m playing the computer. And, yes I have the $59 dollar special circuit breaker between the generator and the house appliances.

I have propane for Heat & cooking, But lucked out & didn't loose power.
I hate sitting in the dark & Making coffee by hand.

we are "guestimated" to get 1 to 3 inches of snow by noon tuesday

3 below right now here, but business as usual. No shutdowns or closings, and no more snow for a few days. I guess I kinda overdid it on that 'Snow for Texas' thang and it went way too far east.
