Hi all! Been way too hot here in CT for me to enjoyably detect and I'm going thru withdrawl! Hope you all are getting out there and finding the goods, or if you're I'm my area hope you're staying cool!
I did however find this nice war nickel in my drawer at work-a 1945-D! I had a good feeling when i cracked the roll of nickels open, and there it was!
Well, this heat is supposed to let up a little tonight and i have the next two days off so I'm gonna get my time in! Happy hunting everyone!

I agree brother, it has been unbearable here in CT. Did make it out this morning for 1 hour and found a 57 Rosie, a few wheat and some clad. Nice nickel btw. If you are ever looking for someone to go swinging with drop me a line here. Live near Wtby but don't mind traveling and I only work 3 nights a week so I have tons of free time.

I hear that up here in litchfield county has been terrible I've got out twice this week and the bugs have chased me out both times. And have nothing to show for it

Made it out for a couple hours after work today and scored silver #30 for the year/ever, a 1928 Merc. I can't wait for tomorrow is going to be a little less humidity... hopefully I can snag a few more Silvers... happy hunting everybody

TMac I can relate... We seem to have three weather conditions... TOO cold, TOO hot, and torrential downpour. Since I didnt get a water proof detector I am stuck working with the first two options. The extended forecast is calling for cooler weather next week and I took some vacation time,,, so just maybe I can feed my MD craving. Good luck & HH
