Well I went out tonight for about 1.5 hours just looking for 2 wheats.
I found them and it is official, I found 100 wheats in one month! 62 of them came from two yards next to each other!
With that many wheats came 9 silver coins. 7 dimes, 1 half, 1 three cent piece, 6 Indians, 2 buffs, and 4 good for tokens! And many other cool relics!
One of my best months for sure!

Congrats bro. That is a TON of wheaties for a month...or entire year even
Way to go on the silver too.
Hey...when you get a chance...take another look at that button i found. Someone thought it might be a civil war musicians button?
The back is perfect with loop intact and says...Conn...Waterbury Co's Inc.
Do you know if it is? I need to get to bed...but I'll check my post or email in the morning.
Thanks

Great finds .

I would say that is a good month. Silver in the NW is tough to be had....great post.

That 3 cent piece is awesome. Congrats

Congrats on finding 100 wheats, I've had a few of those and in 2002 I had six straight months of 100+ with a high of 228 and finished the year with 1087 for the year. That was my first year with the Minelab, you may remember my posts on another forum! One Hundred wheats is not as easy as it used to be and to pull 60+ from just a couple yards is awesome!! Congrats and the silver isn't too bad either!!

Awesome finds!!! congrats on an amazing month    keep it up! best of luck and HH

Congrats, Mike, on your record!!

It sure is an eye opener on how different areas of the US can change the ratios of dug wheaties to silver coins. Here in S. Cal, you don't see 11:1 wheat to silver ratios like yours. I'd feel like I was silver jinxed if I could only find 9 silver after digging 100 wheats in the places I hunt. ;D For the past 3 years, my ratio has been about 4.5:1. All of my hunting buddies currently have between a 3:1 to 5:1 wheat to silver ratio here in S. Cal.

Let's see how many you can get next month!

Great job congrats, sweet finds

Great job on the wheats, I am only 77 behind you so far for the month of April. I better pick up the pace? :icon_scratch:

Congrats Mike, Nice job on all those wheats, and the silver finds are great as well.

That 1868 Indian might be worth a little bit of $$. Looks to be in great undug-looking shape. Good, really good stuff! By the way, where's the aluminum 5-cent token from? (The one on the right)
