well guys been a while since Ive posted anything new, finally I got some time to look at some land I got permission to dig on, there is at least 10-15 shelters all in one long valley close to a creek, most of the shelters have been dug out, I started digging today and wasted several hours on it till I realized I was digging up bottle caps and candy wrappers and decided to move. I moved down about 50 feet toward where the creek runs when its wet and hit the mother load. I dug 1 area and got all of the folling points out of it. there is a lot more to dig just gotta get the time to go do it now. made me feel really good to finally get to find some points!!!

:notworthy: Man you have found the motherlode. Those are some good looking points! I like you bucket sifter also. Good to see you back. I am glad you found time to hunt again. That unifaced one is kinda wild. Nice hunt tree!

It is not called the Cumberland Plateau for nothing : )

Tn mountians, this place is like 500 ft from a State park, but it is on my friends land and Im really thinking the whole valley is loaded with stuff.
I gotta get it all found before something happens to him and it all changes ownership. :0

awesome tree !!!!! i looks good to me, hope you get some early stuff outta there, i know you can! good luck!

Tree just be careful even though it is off the State park. If anybody see's you it will be a free for all in there. You said some of them have been dug already? You might try to get the guy to give you an artifact lease for one year if he is a good friend. If it changes hands good chance that the lease will have to be honored by the new owner. I can write something for you if you like. I can see the mounds dug out in some of those. You can move their sifted piles and hunt under them as well. Good shelters the material may be moved 20' from the entrance if the first digger knew what they were doing.
You have a good spot. Enjoy it and wear some orange going in. Keeps ya from getting shot and makes you look like a hunter!!!
