There is woods out here that i had my eye on for awhile the trees are huge so big that no sun light gets to the ground so its wide open no over growth !! i thought i would try it for 1 hour today and see what i could find since most of the heavy wooded areas have produced some really old relic,s and coins ,not even 10 minutes in that woods i got my first good signal a +47 5 inches deep the roots are forgiving also TG !! sure enough it was flat button with shank after digging it out i rescanned the hole there was more just a few feet away another flatty with no shank in my pouch they went about 20 minutes later i got a good +74 5 inches deep it was a KGII 1739 penny in pretty bad shape they all come out that way here that's my 6th KG this year , i tried for 20 minutes more and found another flatty with shank a old brass shotgun shell 12G western ,the largest of buttons has a makers mark on the back hard to tell all the letters ?OURLE and a date 18?? any help is appreciated ,i think that woods has potential  Thanks for looking Dd60
