old coins are awesome, but this type of hunting is a lot of fun also,, it's definately worth giving a shot, ya gotta trust me on this..

Nice easy pickins, watch out, you'll get spoiled...lol.

The "S" thing is a Sketchers shoe fob by the way.
I guess it is popular now for the girls to have these jeweled shoe fobs
on each shoe and I find a ton of them. At first I thought they were pendants
but one day there was a butch of tots on summer day care at a school
and I let them all use my detector for a few minutes digging a coin I buried for each of them,
and a lot of the girls had shoes with these fobs on them.

Congratulations Green I been doing the chips too. I don't think too many tots and elem kids here have gold. But have seen a few silver jewelry finds though, and some clad. So woodchips are good
