Wouldn't be surprised if there were a few caches buried in and around Chicago. Maybe some Valentines (North Side Gang) stashes. Maybe even some Capone.

Basically this is an area near where I live. It's wooded now but many small buildings appear there in the 30s on historical areials. Looking into dowsing in general but I wanted to see what people thought

Not exactly sure what your up to. I haven't studied the history of the area. A total crap shoot.
I think I might detect here though. Might get lucky and find something really old. Some metal from French Traders?

There is a lot of flint south Lake Michigan area (I know at least the SE end).

I tried joining 2 of those FB groups (1 went private soon after). I knew the groups had a lot of girls, pretty ladies, but that is absolutely craziness. Make 1 good opening post and next 2 weeks checking comments, answering all the pretty ladies. Clicked on a couple of avatars, get a better look.... pretty looking beautiful alright. Nice to get some thread going again on the dowsing forum here. Got tired of the FB groups in a hurry.
