I found this link for you. Not sure what is worth. You might try looking at the history on Ebay. It's a beer bottle from 1892. From the description on the link, it sounds just like it. Here's the link.

I collect bottles, but I had not seen this one before.....Just for an fyi. From the pic, it looks like the bottle has a purple tint. This is due to the glass being made with manganese. We collectors call them "Sun" bottles, because the longer the exposure to the sunlight, the darker purple the bottle becomes.......thats a great looking bottle......great find....
