Found this today ! There are no attachment points that I can see on this pressed brass piece with the ruby looking stone ! Do you think it is the front to a ladies fashion buckle or a broach front ? Or perhaps a fancy harness rossette piece ??? MaineRelic I am thinking that pleabahs vast knowledge of americana can help me I. D. this piece MaineRelic.

I'll agree with Breezie and say victorian brooch. She knows her stuff thats for sure. Nice looking find Mainerelic. Unfortunatly you skip right over that piece in your other post because of all that silver. Congrats on a great day of detecting.

OK, all explained in PM, crossed wires :icon_thumright:

I agree it looks late Victorian in style. Without a better understanding of the missing attachments, which Breezie kindly pointed out 2 of them (might be more can't make it out on the rev photo), I'm a little stuck as I have seen nothing similar. Other than its a little like some of those Sash buckles you find, but could be anything Huh

b. If we did fall out at some point (a minor argument), it would be forgot the next day & I move on. I never have the time or negative energy to hold grudges/ill feelings.
I try to do the same. :icon_thumright:

Nice find Maine.

This broach is looks very old but it's look different. I think this is old ruby stone and you can go at accessories store to know more about it. It's design and structure look like a ladies broach but you will need to conform first.
