Wolf Scull. Dire wolf Scull??

Found this scall in the Missouri River in the St.Charles Missouri River area.While looking For Artifacts. Have found ice age
Bones in this area . Bison mastodon and other bones On the gravel bars.
Any experts out there.

... Please make more pics in natural light. I’m not an expert but it does look like a big K9 skull. It looks creek stained not fossilized in pics but really hard to tell....

I don,t know about the Dire Wolf,but it,s a cool skull whatever it is.my wife is from Cape Girardeau.

google search says wolf skulls are 9 to 11 inches long.

We need some decent pictures . Does not look like a fossil but hard to tell. Looks more like a dog skull.

Agreed. I Googled images for coyote skulls and they look exactly the same
