Hello,

I have visited Door County, Wisconsin for as long as i can remember. We always stay at the Wagon Trail- a rustic hotel decorated with relics from the area. I MD'ed the shoreline, mostly around a fishing dock. Well, here are the pics

#1 General landscape view of the shoreline
#2 The fish boil pots- they boil white fish and potatoes and then throw kerosene on the fire to boil off the oils- causing a huge fireball and is a good way to let people know dinner it ready
#3 A seagull on top of a cross marking the area where a similar cross stood to remind the native converts to keep to their faith, i believe father Marquette placed it there in the 1600's
#4 Me and my backup MD
#5 some clad and retro 70's ring lost off the dock

Enjoy!

door county fish boils are............................AWESOME!

Nice pics. Never been to a fish boil. When you say "White fish" are you refering to what they call whitebass? Caught many of those back there. Beautiful spot, now get out before winter hits! Oh, never mind, you're from Michigan, might as well just stay there 'til spring. ;D

Wisconsin, one of my favorite places, especially Door County. Excellent series of pictures. Thanks for sharing them.
